Set against the backdrop of the onset of the Covid pandemic, “Family Portrait” tells the story of a family gathering one morning for a planned group photo. After the mother disappears and one of the daughters becomes increasingly worried about finding her, the rest of the family seems to resist any attempt to come together.

Lucy Kerr (*1990 in the USA) is a filmmaker and artist. She was named one of the 25 “New Faces of Independent Film” by Filmmaker Magazine in 2022. Kerr studied Film/Video and Art at the California Institute of the Arts. Her feature film “Family Portrait” earned her the Feature Film Fellowship from the Austin Film Society and numerous awards.
